The cover of my upcoming Shadowrun novel, Borrowed Time, was revealed to the world today, and it’s a beauty! I’ve been staring at it for quite some time now, so I’m happy that it’s out there where everybody else can see it, and I can stop dropping vague hints about how creepy and cool it is. Check it out!
Only my opinion, but I dislike this cover and it doesn’t make me want to buy the book. The clearest part of it is an amorphous mess that conveys nothing, but makes me wonder if the story is likewise going to be a poorly illustrated mess. Compare it to the covers of your Chronicles series, even the most convoluted of them (Forgotten, Threshold, Source) seems clear in contrast.
