Still tinkering with the site, and it's beginning to look a bit more like I want it to now. I'm sure there are still a lot of things I can do to it to make it better, but at least it doesn't look like every generic WordPress site out there. That's something. Baby...

Interview with John Helfers (Stone Chronicles editor)
I feel extremely privileged that John Helfers, accomplished and experienced editor and author, finds time in his busy schedule to edit my novels. I mean, how cool is it for an indie author to get the chance to work with a Hugo-nominated editor who’s also edited or collaborated with the likes of Charlaine Harris, Mercedes Lackey, Margaret Weis, and many other science fiction and fantasy luminaries? In addition to his freelance work, John is also the novel editor for the Shadowrun game line, where I worked with him on my Borrowed Time novel.
Who is this R. L. King, anyway?
R. L. King lives the kind of exotic, jet-set life most authors only dream of. Splitting her time between rescuing orphaned ocelots, tracking down the world’s most baffling cheese-related paranormal mysteries, and playing high-stakes pinochle with albino squirrels, it’s a wonder she finds any time to write at all.
Or, you know, she lives in San Jose with her inordinately patient spouse, four demanding cats, and a crested gecko. Which, as far as she’s concerned, is way better.
